34th Annual !!
Toy Ride Parade
Saturday Aug. 22, 2015
History of the Toy Ride
The Brampton Motorcycle Association originated in September of 1981 and in October of 1982, twelve motorcyclists organized "Santa's Ride for Kids".
With the 12 bikes decorated in Toys, the Parade travelled throughout the Town of Brampton. Those 12 bikers collected $753.00 in cash. It was in 1983, we had our first Police Escorted Parade.
The Toy Ride Parade, has become the BMA's Signature Charity Event. With 100% of all Proceeds staying in our community.
This years, 34th Annual Parade, is once again being escorted by the Peel Regional Police.
Last year we raised $10,500.00 for the Brampton Civic Hospital Pediatric Ward and over 350 Toys were collected for the Brampton Salvation Army Toys for Tots program.
Our Riders come from all over the GTA and surrounding areas and even decorate their bikes with toys!
The Parade consists of 200-300 Motorcycle riders (more this year?) who will travel through major roads in the City of Brampton. With the Residents lining the streets showing their support, it is fun for everyone!
